The CADD-DIPLOMAT® PC Communications System is a smart, sophisticated and efficient choice for your telecommunications needs. This new system allows you to program, troubleshoot, view and download data from a patient's CADD-Prizm® pump using a modem and computer. The CADD DIPLOMAT® is a cost-effective system because you can:

• Program or titrate a patient's pump, which can save time identifying problems and may reduce unscheduled nursing visits.
• Troubleshoot a patient's pump, which can save time identifying problems and may prevent unnecessary home care visits.
• Download patient and pump data, which allows you to remotely update therapy information, records and remote dose adjustment, and can reduce visits.
• Ensure patient compliance by reviewing the pump history, and perform an outcome analysis by interfacing the system with facility outcomes documentation and records through a standard database.

The CADD-Prizm® VIP Model 6101 pump, a multi-therapy infusion pump with advanced communications capabilities, now has an upstream occlusion sensor designed to minimize the interruption of fluid delivery. The sensor is designed to detect kinks, closed clamps or air in the tubing between the reservoir and pump. This new feature, in addition to the pump's flexibility and durability, are all reasons why the CADD-Prizm® VIP pump can cost-effectively manage your patient's care and your patient data.
