EPS®, Inc.
Disposable Disc Filters

EPS®, Inc. features three sizes of disposable disc filters: the .2 micron filter is designed for sterilization and bacteria retentive applications; the .45 micron unit is ideal for particulate retention; the 1.2 micron filter removes fungi and particulate from lipid solutions without breaking the emulsions (excellent for TPN and TNA therapy.)

All EPS Disposable Disc Filters are hydrophilic and bi-directional. Equipped with proximal and distal luer locks, the filters attach securely to any luer connections, preventing sprays, splashes and breakes in sterility. The specially constructed filters minimize internal fluid loss, retaining only .4mL

IV Additive Disposable Accessories

EPS® IV Additive Disposable Accessories feature products for the safe and efficient dispensing and administration of IV medication. We market the Chemo-Spike® Reconstitution Device for the preparation of chemo-therapeutics as well as the Dispensing Spike® for non-chemo applications. Our Combi-Cap® male/female luer lock closures can be used as either syringe caps or catheter cut-offs. They're available in 3 colors...red, orange, and white. The Injection-Port III™ is an ideal injection site with a non-removable compressed latex port. It offers protection against "touch" contamination, yet reseals, permitting repetitive injections. In addition, we market products to break ampules (SafeBreak™) and minimize needle sticks (SafeCap™ and NeedleSafe II™). EPS also features a wide variety of ultraviolet inhibitant bags (Nultraviolet® Bags) as well as filter needles, filter aspirators, plus syringe & air-eliminating filters.

How did we make a big name for
ourselves in IV Disposables?

The quickest way...by responding to your needs!

Medi-Dose® and EPS® were started with a simple idea... to give hospital pharmacists what they wanted...in-house, unit dose packaging systems that were flexible, practical and inexpensive.

That made us a leader in the field.

Now, we've applied the same concepts to our IV Disposables...with products that are beautifully functional, easy to use and surprisingly inexpensive! We've combined innovative product design with realistic pricing, blanket P.O.'s and quantity discounts to reduce your pharmacy costs.

The program creates and maintains an on-line database for a variety of IV solutions and prints JCAHO compliant labels. It's a superior starter system for facilities without established IV computer systems or an excellent backup for those with systems in place. Labels may be printed with each new order, PRN, upon changing existing orders, or in multi-day batch runs by patient name, additive or location.
