  • LifeShield offers a completely integrated family of products utilizing the CLAVE® swabable valve or connector - a safe alternative to luer connectors requiring caps. The fully-integrated family of products featuring the CLAVE valve includes stand-alone CLAVE connectors, as well as the CLAVE integral at various locations on a family of I.V. sets. This extensive family includes CLAVE adapter plugs, CLAVE ports, CLAVE extension sets and more. Unlike some luer activated valves, the surface of the CLAVE connector can be on a family of I.V. sets. Unlike some luer activated valves, the surface of the CLAVE connector can be antiseptically swabbed to provide additional infection control, eliminating the need for caps.

Carpuject® (sterile cartridge unit)
Prefilled injection delivery system

Carpuject is a prefilled injection delivery system featuring disposable sterile cartridges. The reusable, plastic, full-length holder is designed to provide both stability during injection and easy, safe disposal of the cartridge after use. Available in a wide range of medications, including narcotics and intravenous flush products, Carpuject features bar coding on every cartridge for tracking, billing, and loss prevention. Carpuject is fully compatible with both cannula and Luer-based connectors. Prefilled Carpuject cartridges are available in four different needle and needleless configurations as follows:

  1. Carpuject with Universal Blunt Cannula
  2. Carpuject with InterLink®
  3. Carpuject with Luer Lock™
  4. Carpuject with Steel Needle
